Tours of the Cemetery

Guided Tours

Island Cemetery and Lew Keen are offering tours on Saturday mornings . These tours highlight people buried on our grounds while promoting appreciation of our landscaped arboretum and our outdoor sculptural museum.

Notable Figures Buried at Island Cemetery

Lew and Trudy Keen collaborated with Island Cemetery staff and Tanya Kelley to develop the brochure shown on the left. You can use the brochure to create your own self guided tour described below. Download and print it or pick one up in the administration building to facilitate you in your search for the famous people described in the themed tours. To enlarge and download the map click the image back page.

Self Guided Tours

The themed tours created by Lew and Trudy Keen and listed and linked below include a map showing the location of each stop on the tour followed by information about the person or the monument.  The print version ( for some tours only) is not illustrated (it does include the map) so less paper is needed, but the information is the same as the other version.

These tours are offered free of charge.
